The Douglas A-4E Skyhawk was one of the U.S. Navy’s most versatile light attack aircraft, known for its compact size, agility, and impressive combat record. By 1975, aircraft such as BuNo 151118 had transitioned from front-line strike squadrons to training and adversary roles within the U.S. Navy.
