Clearance Diecast Models & Closeout Deals

The Clearance category at DiecastModelsWholesale.com is where collectors and enthusiasts can find diecast models, scale model cars, trucks, aircraft, racing collectibles, figures, sets, and other hobby products at reduced prices. Clearance products can include discontinued items, closeout inventory, older releases, limited quantities, or products being offered below their previous selling price.

Because clearance inventory changes frequently, this is a category worth checking regularly. A model that is available today may not remain in stock once the remaining inventory is sold.

What You Can Find in Clearance

The DMW Clearance selection covers a wide range of scales, subjects, manufacturers, and collecting interests. Current and recent clearance offerings have included 1:64, 1:43, 1:24, 1:18 and other scale models, giving collectors opportunities to discover everything from affordable small-scale cars to larger display pieces.

Depending on current inventory, clearance products may include:

• 1:64 scale diecast cars for everyday collecting, display, and themed collections
• 1:18 scale model cars for larger display collections
• 1:24 scale diecast vehicles including classic cars, muscle cars, trucks, and vans
• 1:43 scale model cars covering racing, sports, classic, and specialty subjects
• Racing and motorsport models, including Formula 1 and other competition vehicles
• JDM and tuner cars, including Japanese performance and modified vehicles
• Classic and vintage automobiles
• Muscle cars and American performance cars
• Trucks, commercial vehicles, and delivery vehicles
• Military and aviation models
• Model car sets and multi-piece collections
• Figures and collectible accessories
• Selected model kits and other hobby products

The assortment can change substantially as products sell through, so the Clearance category may contain an unusual combination of brands and subjects compared with a traditional manufacturer or vehicle-type category.

Why Shop Diecast Clearance?

Clearance shopping can be particularly interesting for collectors because price reductions are not limited to one particular type of model. Current examples have included products from brands such as Jada, Inno Models, Mini GT, Tarmac Works, M2 Machines, Solido, GCD, Top Speed, LookSmart, ACME, Greenlight, Tecnomodel, Johnny Lightning and others.

Discounts can also vary considerably from one product to another. For example, current clearance listings have included reductions of approximately 20%, 30%, 33%, 36% and 37% from previously listed prices, while individual products and discounts are subject to change.

For collectors, this creates an opportunity to look beyond a specific model that was originally on a wish list. A clearance listing may make a previously overlooked color, livery, racing version, body style, scale, or manufacturer worth considering.

Clearance Does Not Mean One Specific Type of Product

The word "clearance" describes the pricing or inventory status rather than the type of collectible. A clearance model can still be a highly detailed collectible, a limited edition, or a licensed replica.

For example, clearance inventory has included limited-production 1:18 racing and road cars, 1:64 Japanese performance models, American classics, diecast sets, and licensed pop-culture collectibles. Some products retain their collector-oriented characteristics even though they are being offered at a reduced price.

This is why it can be useful to browse the entire category rather than looking only for a particular vehicle type.

Shop by Scale

Scale is one of the most important considerations when buying a model car or other scale collectible. Clearance inventory can span several scales, so always check the individual product listing for the exact scale before ordering.

1:64 Scale

1:64 is one of the most popular scales for compact diecast collections. These models take up relatively little display space and make it practical to collect multiple vehicles around a particular theme, manufacturer, racing series, movie, era, or vehicle type.

Clearance listings can include 1:64 JDM cars, classic American cars, racing models, police vehicles, commercial vehicles, and multi-car sets.

1:43 Scale

1:43 provides a balance between compact size and additional model detail. It is widely used for classic automobiles, European cars, motorsport subjects, and collector-focused replicas.

1:24 Scale

1:24 models provide a larger display presence and are commonly used for American classics, muscle cars, trucks, movie vehicles, and other detailed replicas.

1:18 Scale

1:18 models are substantially larger and are often selected as centerpiece models for display collections. Clearance inventory can include sports cars, racing cars, classic automobiles, supercars, and limited-production replicas in this scale.

When browsing clearance, use the product information to confirm scale, materials, opening features, display accessories, and other specifications because these characteristics vary between manufacturers and individual releases.

Clearance for Different Types of Collectors

Clearance shopping can appeal to both experienced collectors and people beginning a scale-model collection.

For Diecast Collectors

Experienced collectors can use clearance to search for specific manufacturers, scales, vehicle eras, or subjects at reduced prices. It can also be a useful place to look for older releases that are no longer prominent in newer product assortments.

For Motorsport Enthusiasts

Clearance inventory can include Formula 1, rally, endurance racing, touring cars, and other motorsport subjects. Current examples have included Formula 1 models and racing replicas from brands such as Mini GT, Solido, Tecnomodel, LookSmart and Top Speed.

For JDM and Tuner Collectors

Japanese performance cars and modified vehicles are frequently represented in small-scale collector releases. Clearance listings have included subjects such as Toyota Supra, Nissan Silvia, and other Japanese performance models.

For American Car Collectors

Classic American cars, muscle cars, hot rods, pickups, and other American automotive subjects can also appear in closeout inventory. Depending on availability, collectors may find models from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth, Cadillac and other manufacturers.

For Gift Shoppers

A clearance model can also be a practical option when shopping for a collector, automotive enthusiast, racing fan, or fan of a particular vehicle. Smaller 1:64 models and multi-piece sets can provide accessible options, while larger 1:18 and 1:24 models offer a more substantial display piece.

How to Shop a Diecast Clearance Category

Clearance inventory requires a slightly different approach from shopping for a regularly stocked product.

Check the product details carefully. Confirm the scale, manufacturer, vehicle, color, livery, edition, and included accessories before placing an order.

Pay attention to availability. Closeout products are often available in limited quantities. Once the remaining inventory is gone, the specific product may no longer be available.

Compare the original and current price. DMW clearance listings display the current price alongside the previous price when applicable, allowing shoppers to see the listed reduction.

Consider the exact version. Collectible models can have multiple releases of the same vehicle with different colors, wheels, racing numbers, liveries, interiors, or production details.

Look beyond your usual brands. Clearance can be a good opportunity to discover manufacturers or subjects that may not normally be part of your collection.

Clearance vs. Sale

DMW uses both Sale and Clearance as shopping categories, but they serve as separate ways to discover reduced-price merchandise. The broader Sale category can include many currently offered products with promotional price reductions, while Clearance is specifically intended to highlight closeout and clearance merchandise.

If you are looking for a broader selection of discounted diecast models, you can also browse the Sale category. For a wider selection beyond discounted merchandise, visit Shop All.

Clearance Inventory Changes Frequently

One of the most important characteristics of a clearance category is that it is constantly changing. Products are added, sold, removed, or reduced according to inventory and merchandising decisions. DMW's current Clearance pages show a changing assortment across multiple manufacturers, scales, and vehicle types rather than a fixed catalog.

That makes the category useful for collectors who enjoy discovering unexpected models. A clearance page may contain a classic American car next to a modern JDM model, a Formula 1 replica, a military aircraft, or a collectible figure.

For collectors who are flexible about the exact release, clearance browsing can therefore be as much about discovery as price.

Find Your Next Diecast Deal

Whether you are searching for an affordable addition to a 1:64 collection, a larger 1:18 display model, a racing replica, a classic American car, a JDM favorite, a truck, aircraft model, or another collectible, the DMW Clearance category provides a changing selection of closeout merchandise at reduced prices.

Inventory and discounts change as products sell through, so check the current listings, review each product's scale and specifications, and look for the models that fit your collection. Browse the Clearance selection at DiecastModelsWholesale.com and see what collectible deals you can find today.
