Carlos Sainz ended in third place at the Monaco GP, the eighth stage of the 2024 Formula 1 world championship. The Spanish guy can be happy after the puncture in the first laps of the race. Helped by the accident between some drivers at the bottom of the ranking, he restarted the race in third place after the red flags. Finally he got the podium thanks to his good race pace on a track that traditionally makes overtaking difficult.
This edition is remembered for the victory of the other Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, the first of the Monegasque driver on his home circuit. In the past he got twice the pole position without finishing the race.
